Position:

Lead Teacher
 

Job Duties:

Responsible for the daily planning, implementing curriculum goals, management of the classroom and supervision of the children. Is responsible for ensuring that all parent, child and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed. Usually, is assisted in the classroom by an assistant teacher.  Complies with and ensures Arizona Child Care Licensing requirements are met.
 

Job   Requirements:

Is required to provide documentation of high school or high school equivalency diploma and a minimum of six months child care experience in a licensed facility.  Early childhood education is desired, but not required.
 


Position: Assistant Teacher
 
Job Duties:

Assists in the daily management, and supervision of the children and classroom as directed by the Lead Teacher.  Assists the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum goals. Complies with Arizona Child Care Licensing requirements.
 

Job Requirements:

Is 16 years of age or older and provides written documentation of one of the following:

*Current and continuous enrollment in high school or a high school equivalency class

*High school or high school equivalency diploma

Early Childhood experience is desired, but not required.
 


Position: Cook
 
Job Duties: Responsible for planning and preparation of snacks and meals; orders and inventories all kitchen items.  Ensures health and safety standards are met; accepts temporary assignments within the center.
 
Job Requirements: Provides documentation of a Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card. Follows guidelines by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).  CACFP experience is desired, but not required.
 

Volunteer Involvement Program (V.I.P.)

The center welcomes individuals who would like to volunteer their service.  Each V.I.P. member will be assigned to work with a specific group of children or in the office.  V.I.P. members are not required to change diapers or be responsible for cleaning any area of the facility or its contents.  He/She provides instructional assistance, supervision, and gives loving support to children.  Volunteers are under the supervision of the teachers and the director. A volunteer is 16 years of age or older and complies with Arizona Child Care Licensing requirements.
